About Dr. Sarah
Naturopathic Doctor & Fatigue Fixer

If you’re wondering why the eff you’re so tired
and if your thyroid or hormones are to
blame...you’re in the right place.
sound familiar?
You’re exhausted but you push through the day because you feel guiltily taking a sick day or saying no to your kids
You’re irritable and impatient and sometimes fantasize about running away when you’re PMS-ing
You’ve asked your doctor for testing but felt dismissed when they said everything is normal and now, you’re wondering if it’s all in your head
You’re trying to eat healthier and exercise but most days you’re too tired to do anything but scroll & watch Friends reruns…again.
You’ve tried keto and intermittent fasting but nothing seems to budge the scale and you’re overwhelmed and confused by all the conflicting health advice online.

I know how it
feels because I’ve
been there too…
It wasn’t until the pandemic forced me to actually slowdown that I realized how exhausted I was. How my obsession with productivity and getting through my impossibly long to-do lists was draining me. And I was seeing the same patterns in the exhausted women showing up in my office desperately looking for answers.
That’s when I became obsessed with figuring out what was making women so tired. In my case, that meant more exercise, improving my sleep quality and correcting my iron deficiency.

And now, I want to help you figure
out what’s making you so tired so you
can fix your fatigue.
My friends will
tell you…
That have a tendency to talk loudly when I get excited and that I’m confident but also deeply sensitive. As my friend Beth loves to say, I “feel all of my feelings” so you’re just as likely to see my crying (happy and sad tears) as laughing, and I’m not afraid to show my anger and frustration especially when it comes to the unrealistic and unattainable expectations women are expected to meet.
The flaw that turned out be a gift…
I hated my voice growing up. Nothing was more upsetting that hearing myself on voicemail or having my best friend’s dad refer to me as “your friend with the cold.” But it turns out that my voice has been instrumental in helping me create the life and relationships I’ve dreamed of. And it’s what allows me to speak out about my favorite things including women’s health and how societal expectations are making us tired, unhappy and sick.
My happy
place is…
Anywhere I can snuggle up with a book. Bonus points if it’s by the water and I can sip a strong coffee or cold gin and tonic.

The serious stuff…
I have a Bachelor of Health Science & graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2010. I’ve been a Naturopathic Doctor since then and have had the pleasure of working with over 2000 women in my 1-on-1 practice over the past decade.
